The town of Loma Ñuhu-Cua belongs to the municipality of Santa Cruz Nundaco (State of Oaxaca). There are 236 inhabitants and it is 2,651 meters altitude. Of all the towns in the municipality, it occupies the number #5 in terms of number of inhabitants.

The locality was formerly known as Loma ÑuhuACua, but changed its name a few years ago. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2010.
