The town of Lomas del Valle belongs to the municipality of Maravatío (State of Michoacán). There are 21 inhabitants and it is 2,079 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Tlalpujahua is 56 minutes away by car (52 km). Of all the towns in the municipality, it occupies the number #129 in terms of number of inhabitants.

The locality was formerly known as Loma de Huaracha, but changed its name a few years ago. In the year 2019, the locality changed its name.
