The town of San Rafael Loma Bonita belongs to the municipality of Tulancingo de Bravo (State of Hidalgo). There are 117 inhabitants and it is 2,132 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Acaxochitlán is 31 minutes away by car (27 km). In the list of the most populated towns of the whole municipality, it is the number #41 of the ranking.

This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as Loma Bonita San Rafael. In the year 2010, the locality changed its name.
