The town of Las Canoas (Hidalgo) belongs to the municipality of San Agustín Metzquititlán. There are 58 inhabitants and it is 1,299 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Metztitlán is 18 minutes away by car (15 km). In the list of the most populated towns of the whole municipality, it is the number #32 of the ranking.

This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as Canoas. In the year 2020, the locality changed its name.
