The town of La Rivera belongs to the municipality of Caborca (State of Sonora). There are 35 inhabitants and it is 45 meters altitude. Of all the towns in the municipality, it occupies the number #49 in terms of number of inhabitants.
This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as La Riviera. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2017.
