The town of El Chorizo belongs to the municipality of Sinaloa (State of Sinaloa). There are 10 inhabitants and it is 240 meters altitude. It is the most populated town in the position #427 of the whole municipality.

You may know this town as La Ciénega de los Castro, because this was its former name. This town decided to change its name in the year 2019.
