The town of Chaac belongs to the municipality of Calotmul (State of Yucatán). There are 3 inhabitants and it is 23 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Espita is 31 minutes away by car (28 km). It is the most populated town in the position #12 of the whole municipality.

This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as Ichyah. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2015.
