The town of Huertas el Mirador belongs to the municipality of Tlaltizapán (State of Morelos). There are 14 inhabitants and it is 1,007 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Tlaltizapán de Zapata is 25 minutes away by car (17 km). Of all the towns in the municipality, it occupies the number #49 in terms of number of inhabitants.

The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2010.
