It's a beach town: the beach of Playa La Tijera is 10 km away. The Magical Town of Mazunte is 25 minutes away by car (18 km). Of all the towns in the municipality, it occupies the number #62 in terms of number of inhabitants.
This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as Fraccionamiento la Guayabita. In the year 2020, the locality changed its name.
