The town of Agrarista Emiliano Zapata belongs to the municipality of Atzitzihuacán (State of Puebla). There are 323 inhabitants and it is 2,016 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Atlixco is 36 minutes away by car (29 km). In the list of the most populated towns of the whole municipality, it is the number #8 of the ranking.

The locality was formerly known as Emiliano Zapata (Colonia Agrarista), but changed its name a few years ago. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2020.
