The town of El Terrero (Hidalgo) belongs to the municipality of San Agustín Metzquititlán. There are 47 inhabitants and it is 1,320 meters altitude. This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as Terrero. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2020.
