The town of Floresta (Sonora) belongs to the municipality of Hermosillo. There are 181 inhabitants and it is 14 meters altitude. It's a beach town: the beach of Playa Tastiota is 22 km away. It is the most populated town in the position #730 of the whole municipality.

The locality was formerly known as El Rosario, but changed its name a few years ago. This town decided to change its name in the year 2016.
