The town of Piedras Negras belongs to the municipality of Epazoyucan (State of Hidalgo). There are 46 inhabitants and it is 2,445 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Real de Monte is 22 minutes away by car (19 km). It is the most populated town in the position #38 of the whole municipality.

This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as El Puente (Piedras Negras). The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2014.
