The town of Santo Domingo belongs to the municipality of Venustiano Carranza (State of Chiapas). There are 34 inhabitants and it is 566 meters altitude. In the list of the most populated towns of the whole municipality, it is the number #79 of the ranking.
The locality was formerly known as El Paraíso Grijalva, but changed its name a few years ago. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2010.
