The town of San Miguel (Guerrero) belongs to the municipality of Acatepec. There are 154 inhabitants and it is 2,110 meters altitude. It is the most populated town in the position #69 of the whole municipality.

The locality was formerly known as El Mesón, but changed its name a few years ago. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2010.
