The town of El Limón (Oaxaca) belongs to the municipality of San Andrés Cabecera Nueva. There are 58 inhabitants and it is 1,284 meters altitude. It is the most populated town in the position #13 of the whole municipality.

This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as El Limón Santa Ana. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2017.
