The town of El Campanario (Nuevo León) belongs to the municipality of Juárez. The Magical Town of Santiago is 29 minutes away by car (24 km). It is the most populated town in the position #114 of the whole municipality.

The locality was formerly known as Los Postes, but changed its name a few years ago. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2010.
