The town of Barrio el Calvario (Hidalgo) belongs to the municipality of Metztitlán. There are 15 inhabitants and it is 1,468 meters altitude. This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as El Calvario. The community's inhabitants joined those of Metztitlán in the year 2019. This town decided to change its name in the year 2010.
