The town of Dos Ríos (State of Mexico) belongs to the municipality of Huixquilucan. There are 4,553 inhabitants and it is 2,619 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Metepec is 62 minutes away by car (47 km). It is the most populated town in the position #10 of the whole municipality.

The locality was formerly known as San Francisco Dos Ríos, but changed its name a few years ago. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2010.
