The town of Zona Este la Cruz (Querétaro) belongs to the municipality of Querétaro. The Magical Town of Comonfort is 66 minutes away by car (45 km). Of all the towns in the municipality, it occupies the number #304 in terms of number of inhabitants.
This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as Colonia la Cruz. In the year 2010, this location joined Santa Rosa Jáuregui. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2010.
