The town of Colonia Guadalupe Hidalgo belongs to the municipality of Ozumba (State of Estado de México). There are 882 inhabitants and it is 2,073 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Tlayacapan is 40 minutes away by car (28 km). It is the most populated town in the position #6 of the whole municipality.

The locality was formerly known as Loma Bonita, but changed its name a few years ago. In the year 2010, the locality changed its name.
