The town of Barrio de San Ramón belongs to the municipality of Huixquilucan (State of Estado de México). There are 1,624 inhabitants and it is 2,674 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Metepec is 69 minutes away by car (46 km). In the list of the most populated towns of the whole municipality, it is the number #26 of the ranking.

The locality was formerly known as San Ramón, but changed its name a few years ago. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2010.
