The town of El Bajío (Oaxaca) belongs to the municipality of San Agustín Yatareni. There are 104 inhabitants and it is 1,607 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Capulálpam de Méndez is 78 minutes away by car (57 km). It is the most populated town in the position #7 of the whole municipality.
The locality was formerly known as Lomas del Bajío, but changed its name a few years ago. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2019.
