The town of La Faja (Chiapas) belongs to the municipality of Palenque. There are 6 inhabitants and it is 48 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Palenque is 15 minutes away by car (14 km). It is the most populated town in the position #740 of the whole municipality.

The locality was formerly known as Arroyo Florido, but changed its name a few years ago. This town decided to change its name in the year 2019.
