The town of Techichititla belongs to the municipality of Atlatlahucan (State of Morelos). There are 20 inhabitants and it is 1,561 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Tlayacapan is 17 minutes away by car (14 km). It is the most populated town in the position #30 of the whole municipality.

The locality was formerly known as Achititlán, but changed its name a few years ago. In the year 2018, this location joined Colonia el Salto. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2012.
