Telchac Pueblo is a Municipality of 3557 inhabitants, placed in the State of Yucatán, with a fertility rate of 2.39 children per woman. 4.05% of the population migrated from outside the State of Yucatán. 26.12% of the population is indigenous, 13.87% of the inhabitants speak one indigenous language, and 0.12% speak that indigenous language, but not Spanish.

89.74% of the inhabitants of Telchac Pueblo are Catholic, 48.89% are economically active and, within this active population, 98.05% are employed. Additionally, 74.82% of the dwellings have piped water and 6.45% have Internet access.
