This town decided to be annexed to San Bernardino Tlaxcalancingo in the year 2010.

The town of Tlalapanco is located at 4.8 kilometers from Tlaxcalancingo (San Bernardino), which is the most populated locality in the municipality, in the Northeast direction. In addition, it is located at 1.5 kilometers from San Andrés Cholula, which is the capital of the municipality, in the North direction.
