The town of San Miguel Jagüeyes belongs to the municipality of Huehuetoca (State of Estado de México). There are 4,887 inhabitants and it is 2,280 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Tepotzotlán is 27 minutes away by car (23 km). Of all the towns in the municipality, it occupies the number #6 in terms of number of inhabitants.

This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as San Miguel de los Jagüeyes. This town decided to change its name in the year 2010.
