The town of Rincón de Aguirre belongs to the municipality of Tejupilco (State of Estado de México). There are 1,700 inhabitants and it is 1,318 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Valle de Bravo is 44 minutes away by car (43 km). Of all the towns in the municipality, it occupies the number #9 in terms of number of inhabitants.

The locality was formerly known as Rincón de Aguirres, but changed its name a few years ago. This town decided to change its name in the year 2010.
