The place of Chapultepec is inside the municipality of Santos Reyes Tepejillo (in the State of Oaxaca). There are 12 inhabitants. In the list of the most populated towns of the whole municipality, it is the number #3 of the ranking. Chapultepec is at 1,930 meters of altitude.

This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as Los Soriano (Familia Soriano). The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2010.
