The town of El Recuerdo is located in the Municipality of Pijijiapan (in the State of Chiapas). There are 7 inhabitants. In the list of the most populated towns of the whole municipality, it is the number #281 of the ranking. El Recuerdo is at 28 meters of altitude.

This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as Los Nances. This town decided to be annexed to Guanajuato in the year 2019. The inhabitants of the community became separated from those of Guanajuato in the year 2020. In the year 2020, the locality changed its name.
