The town of La Vega (La Presa) belongs to the municipality of Tlaxco (State of Tlaxcala). There are 6 inhabitants and it is 2,530 meters altitude. The locality was formerly known as Las Presas, but changed its name a few years ago. In the year 2012, this location joined Tlaxco. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2003.
