The town of La Nopalera is located at 25.6 kilometers from Ejido la Sangre (La Sangre Nueva), which is the most populated locality in the municipality, in the North direction. In addition, it is located at 1.7 kilometers from Tubutama, which is the capital of the municipality, in the South direction.
