The town of El Plan del Recreo belongs to the municipality of Huehuetla (State of Hidalgo). There are 125 inhabitants and it is 448 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Pahuatlán is 36 minutes away by car (29 km). It is the most populated town in the position #29 of the whole municipality.
The locality was formerly known as Plan del Recreo, but changed its name a few years ago. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2010.
