The town of Cinco de Marzo is located in the Municipality of La Independencia (in the State of Chiapas). There are 2 inhabitants. It is the most populated town in the position #115 of the whole municipality. Cinco de Marzo is at 1,069 meters of altitude.

The locality was formerly known as Dos Arbolitos, but changed its name a few years ago. In the year 2019, the locality changed its name.
