The town of Tabachines is located in the Municipality of Yautepec (in the State of Morelos). There are 649 inhabitants. Of all the towns in the municipality, it occupies the number #17 in terms of number of inhabitants. Tabachines is at 1,220 meters of altitude.

This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as Campo la Escopeta. In the year 2010, the locality changed its name.
