The town of Bóximo belongs to the municipality of Jiquipilco (State of Estado de México). There are 99 inhabitants and it is 2,541 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Villa del carbón is 38 minutes away by car (35 km). Of all the towns in the municipality, it occupies the number #69 in terms of number of inhabitants.

You may know this town as Rancho Bóximo, because this was its former name. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2010.

The town of Bóximo is located at 11.0 kilometers from San Bartolo Oxtotitlán, which is the most populated locality in the municipality, in the Southwest direction.
