The town of Puente Colorado belongs to the municipality of Atlixco (State of Puebla). There are 16 inhabitants and it is 1,790 meters altitude. The locality was formerly known as Barranca del Carmen, but changed its name a few years ago. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2012.
