The town of Lerdo (Cab.) is located in the Municipality of Lerdo (in the State of Durango). There are 96,243 inhabitants. It is the most populated town in the position #1 of the whole municipality. Lerdo (Cab.) is at 1,132 meters of altitude.

The locality was formerly known as Ciudad Lerdo (Cab.), but changed its name a few years ago. In the year 2010, the locality changed its name.
