The place of Tajaltik is inside the municipality of Oxchuc (in the State of Chiapas). There are 43 inhabitants. It is the most populated town in the position #101 of the whole municipality. Tajaltik is at 1,545 meters of altitude.

The locality was formerly known as San Miguel, but changed its name a few years ago. In the year 2012, the locality changed its name.
