The place of El Dorado is inside the municipality of Cuauhtémoc (in the State of Colima). There are 6 inhabitants. It is the most populated town in the position #21 of the whole municipality. El Dorado is at 900 meters of altitude.

You may know this town as Los Aguacates, because this was its former name. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2015.

To locate this beautiful town inside the municipality, you must know that El Dorado is located at 1.3 kilometers (in direction North) from the locality of Quesería, which is the one that has more inhabitants inside the municipality. Also, from the capital of the municipality (Cuauhtémoc) it is at 8.4 kilometers in direction North.
