This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as Junio Urzúa. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2014.

The town of Los Urzúa is located at 10.0 kilometers from Quesería, which is the most populated locality in the municipality, in the Southwest direction. In addition, it is located at 7.5 kilometers from Cuauhtémoc, which is the capital of the municipality, in the West direction.
