The town of Chak Acoljá is located in the Municipality of Chilón (in the State of Chiapas). There are 70 inhabitants. Of all the towns in the municipality, it occupies the number #258 in terms of number of inhabitants. Chak Acoljá is at 899 meters of altitude.

This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as Chacajcolá. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2010.
