The place of Ndwa is inside the municipality of Santa María Nduayaco (in the State of Oaxaca). There are 22 inhabitants. Of all the towns in the municipality, it occupies the number #9 in terms of number of inhabitants. Ndwa is at 2,342 meters of altitude.

The locality was formerly known as Barrio del Llano, but changed its name a few years ago. This town decided to change its name in the year 2015.

The town of Ndwa is located at 0.3 kilometers from San José de Gracia, which is the most populated locality in the municipality, in the North direction.
